So sorry it's taken a while to respond. After graduation I haven't kept up with my blog at all! It's time to get that started again. I was going to do camp in Denver, but they cancelled the site. I ended up working in Willow Grove, Penn. instead. Camp has been a great program in my life, but now that I'm finished with school it's time to continue working a stable job at one location. It was great while it lasted though!

No actually these people did work, it's just the government's returning part of the tax they paid extracted from the people's salaries. However shall this means boost the economy is doubtful like you said , it depends on how the people will spend their money, do they just save it or waste that on oil, whose price never stop climbing up.

when everyone's trying to pay for oil i doubt if the money would go to other countries and causing national debt, that's way too much of a prediction. WHat's the cons here is that giving money back is just not long term and not sustainable.it still doesn't solve the problem of price inflation and staggering oil price etc and yes there are loads of baby boomers who gotta retire sooon to take into account.

Ms. Voth,

Congratulations on your pursuit of public relations related to children's health. If making this world a better place is your goal, you are truly on the launch pad to success.

We do appreciate your kind mention of the Los Angeles Fire Department on Twitter, and think that your readers might find this recent article in Governing to be of interest.

Please let us know when your travels bring you to Southern California. There's plenty of room at our firehouse kitchen table, and always a warm cup of coffee with your name on it.

Respectfully Yours in Safety and Service,
